Kordsa ranks first in the textile category at the 6th Private Sector RD and Design Centers Summit
Kordsa, a Sabancı Holding subsidiary, was granted the “Best R&D Center” award in the textile category at the award ceremony held within the scope of the 6th Private Sector R&D and Design Centers Summit. Kordsa CEO Ali Çalışkan received the award from Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, Faruk Özlü.
Global leader of tire, construction reinforcement and composite technologies, Kordsa participated in the 6th Private Sector R&D and Design Centers Summit held with the theme of "Development through R&D and Innovation" at ATO Congresium on December 20-21, 2017.
Kordsa was granted “Best R&D Center” award in textile category for the fifth consecutive year in the 5th Performance Index Results of R&D Centers. Kordsa CEO Ali Çalışkan, received the award from Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, Faruk Özlü.
Regarding the award, Ali Çalışkan stated: "R&D and innovation are at the heart of our business. In addition to the award, the certificate was presented to Çalışkan for the Composite Technologies Center of Excellence, which was approved as the R&D Center by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. The Center is Kordsa’s second R&D center approved by the ministry.
