Kordsa continues to reinforce its name, "Reinforcer," in the composite industry with new products. The main focus is to weave high-strength composite reinforcements with carbon, aramid, and glass, develop resin formulations, produce prepregs, and develop applications for various industries, especially automotive, aerospace, marine, and sports and leisure.
Kordsa has taken the first step of its growth strategy in the composite field with the Composite Technologies Center of Excellence, one of the few integrated production centers in the world. Kordsa's journey went ahead in the aerospace industry with Fabric Development and Textile Products, which produce highly engineered structural materials; its competency has expanded with the acquisition of Advanced Honeycomb Technologies, which delivers advanced materials for canin interior parts. The acquisition of Axiom Materials paved the way for Kordsa to be the only globally qualified manufacturer of Oxide-Oxide ceramic matrix composites.
