Ergun Hepvar has been appointed CEO of Kordsa, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding. With nearly 35 years of professional experience and a strong track record in leadership roles across various global companies, Hepvar will officially take on his new role as of June 1, 2025.

About Ergun Hepvar:
Mr. Ergun Hepvar, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University and completed his MBA at the University of California, Berkeley – Haas School of Business. Between 1992 and 1997, he began his career at Unilever, where he held roles in Procurement and Systems Management. He later worked at C-Bridge Internet Solutions as a Managing Principal. From 2002 to 2003, he served as a Global Project Manager at Apple. Between 2003 and 2005, he held the Director of Information Technology position at TNT (now CEVA Logistics). From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Ergun Hepvar served as CIO at Sabancı Holding, where he led the Group-wide IT strategies and implemented corporate digital transformation programs. From 2010 to 2013, he worked at Akçansa as Chief Supply Chain & Logistics Officer. Between 2013 and 2020, Mr. Ergun Hepvar served as CEO and Country Director of Olmuksan International Paper. Most recently, he worked at International Paper as Director of Innovation, Data, and Advanced Analytics. In this role, he implemented enterprise-level AI and data strategies, contributing to operational excellence, responsible AI, and technology integration.
