Kordsa develops innovative and original intermediate products and applications in the field of composite reinforcement for a variety of industries, notably aviation and automotive as well as sports equipment and marine sectors.

Kordsa offers its customers a wide range of products comprising traditional and hybrid fabrics.
Kordsa offers two main types of polymer composite matrix materials: thermoplastics and thermoset resins.
Axiom Materials is the world’s largest producer of Oxide-Oxide Ceramic Matrix Composite pre-preg materials. Ox-Ox CMCs have significant application.
Kordsa’s slit tape products are designed for automated fiber placement (AFP) or machine-supported winding techniques to prepare round, cylindrical, and rectangular 3D vessels and structures.
Narrow towprepregs are designed to improve safety, increase strength, reduce waste, and withstand high temperatures in applications such as critical battery containment, high-pressure vessels, and structural components supporting next-generation transportation.
Composite surface films are designed to be lightweight and provide smooth, protective surfaces for composite parts.
Kordsa reinforces its position in honeycomb materials by continuing to grow with its new affiliates by integrating Advanced Honeycomb Technologies. Since 2022, Advanced Honeycomb Technologies (AHT) has joined the Axiom Materials family and will be called Axiom Honeycomb. Axiom Honeycomb manufactures a wide range of honeycomb cores used in products as diverse as commercial and military aircraft, c ommunications and transportation equipment, space vehicles, construction materials, and recreational and sporting goods.
Kordsa leads the way in environmentally friendly materials for the future. The Company’s composite products, made with bio-based resin systems and natural fibers, offer superior mechanical and fire-resistant properties while maintaining a low carbon footprint.

Kordsa puts innovation and R&D at the center of its activities to develop value-added, distinctive, and sustainable technologies in every business line.
Composite Technologies Center of Excellence (CTCE) as Kordsa’s second R&D Center, established in cooperation with Sabancı University in 2016 with an investment of 30 Million USD. Approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology, this Center registered as Türkiye’s 344th R&D center as of January 10, 2017. The CTCE is the first carbon woven fiber and prepreg manufacturer to support basic research to prototype part production in Türkiye, one of the few test centers in the World, and one of the few manufacturers in Europe.
With its mission of “Reinforcing Life”, Kordsa plays a value-added role in shaping the market with the technologies it develops with its R&D centers, where it makes innovations that make a difference.
By reinforcing 2 out of every 3 aircraft tires in the world, Kordsa now strengthens the interior, wing, fuselage, and engine of these aircraft with its competencies. The Company is ready to leverage its strong innovation perspective to fortify space.
